The Congregation of Preshitharam Sisters (C.P.S) was founded by late Rev. Fr. George Kochuparambil, the director of the Propagation of Faith of the Arch diocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly, on 8th December 1977 at Kalady. It was started as a Catechetical Institutebyhim on 25 August 1964 with the generous support of His Eminence Joseph CardinalParecattil, the then Archbishop of the Arch diocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly,as a souvenir of His sacerdotal silver jubilee.
   The charism of our Congregation is to serve the Poor in Christ. We are engaged in three different fields of apostolate namely Faith formation, house visits and primary education of children in the remote areas. The congregation was granted the Major Archiepiscopal status by His Beatitude George Cardinal Alencherry the Major Archbishop of Syro Malabar Church on 15 August 2013...
