The Congregation of Preshitharam Sisters (C.P.S) was founded by late Rev. Fr. George Kochuparambil, the director of the Propagation of Faith of the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly, on 8th December 1977 at Kalady. It was started as a Catechetical Institutebyhim on 25 August 1964 with the generous support of His Eminence Joseph CardinalParecattil, the then Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly, as a souvenir of His sacerdotal silver jubilee.
